Pinkney Hall: April Themes

In addition to songs from new releases and songs by artists with shows in Pittsburgh, our April playlists will have the following themes:

April 3 –  We’ll play songs appropriate for Good Friday.

April 10 –  Tunes with 12 string guitars will be featured.

April 17 –  Pinkney Hall is preempted by the CMU Spring Carnival. If you cannot be there in person, tune in to hear how the Buggy Races unfold!

April 24 – Another song feature! This time we’ll play a few versions of Baby Please Don’t Go.

Pinkney Hall: March Themes

In addition to songs from new releases and by artists with shows in Pittsburgh, our March playlists will have the following themes:

March  6 — March 8 is International Women’s Day. We’ll play songs by female artists.

March 13 — You will be treated to several variations of Rollin’ and Tumblin’.

March 20 —  Spring songs!

March 27 — Kenny Joe will be away checking out what’s happening in Philly.

Midnight Mock: Lesley Gore

This Friday night, join The Mockster for his weekly “Midnight Mock” where the late great Lesley Gore goes under the Mocklight.

Lesley Gore hit the charts at the tender age of 16 in 1963 with the Quincy Jones produced, “It’s My Party.” Hear cover songs of some of Gore’s biggest hits, with some possible other surprise tunes.
