Legendary Deep Purple guitarist on Court’s in Session

May 4, legendary guitarist, Steve Morse joins Court’s in Session to talk about his upcoming Pittsburgh appearance.

With seven Grammy award nominations, five straight Guitar Magazine “Guitarist of the Year” awards (his name had to be removed from eligibility to open the nomination to other musicians), Steve  is truly a guitar god of epic proportions. 

He has played lead guitar in the Dixie Dregs and Kansas then was picked to replace Richie Blackmore – spending 28 years as lead guitarist in Deep Purple.

House of Hamill wows WRCT audience

Did you miss the conversation Mandorichard had with House of Hamill on March 22’s Whiskey Before Breakfast? Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan appeared to promote House of Hamill’s April 1 concert for Pittsburgh’s Songspace series.

Western PA’s The Vogues featured on Radio 9

Hugh Geyer, founding member and former 1st Tenor of The Vogues, will be Jay Thurber’s guest on Saturday, March 4 for the 1 o’clock hour of Radio 9.
