Billy Crain gets mocked tonight!

Tune into WRCT on Friday, October 25 at 10:00 p.m. as legendary guitarist Billy Crain joins the Mockster on Viva le Mock.  

As a member of the Henry Paul Band, Bellamy Brothers and The Outlaws, Crain has been a staple of the Southern Rock scene since the 1970s. He’s written chart-topping songs for Poco, Martina McBride, and the Dixie Chicks, and on Saturday, October 26th he’ll be celebrating the release of his 9th solo album, Hoodie, at Moondog’s in Blawnox.

Amy Rigby joins The Mockster

Tune into WRCT on Friday, October 11 at 10:00 p.m. as singer/songwriter Amy Rigby joins the Mockster on Viva le Mock.  

Rigby, known for her emotionally rich and relatable observations about love, relationships, parenthood, and the musician’s life, crafts a sound that adds folk and country accents to straightforward, hooky rock & roll. 

Having cut her teeth in the downtown NYC scene in the late 70s/early 80s, Rigby will be discussing her new album, her memoir, and her upcoming performance in Pittsburgh at the Bantha Tea Bar on October 18.

Rick Wakeman joins Court’s in Session

Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and legendary keyboardist Rick Wakeman joins your rocking attorney, Eric Jackson Lurie, on Court’s in Session.

One of the most influential keyboardists in the history of rock, Rick Wakeman became famous as a member of the band Yes. Later, he made great music with Cat Stevens, David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne, and many other artists.  Rick just began the American leg of his current, and last tour: “Rick Wakeman: Final Solo Tour–An evening of Yes music and other favorites.” Tune in as Rick and Eric discuss the tour and Rick’s long musical career.
