Celebrating the release of their latest album, New Roaring Twenties, Nick Z of LA’s garage-rockers The Forty-Nineteens will be joining the Mockster on WRCT’s Viva le Mock radio program November 5 at 10:00 p.m. to talk about music, their connection to Pittsburgh, and their three Pittsburgh-area shows November 12-14.

Outlaws ride into Court’s in Session

Join your Rockin’ Attorney, Eric Jackson Lurie, Thursday, November 4 at 8:00 p.m. to hear what happens when southern rock royalty, Henry Paul and Billy Crain of The Outlaws, invade WRCT’s Court’s in Session.

The Outlaws, Blackhawk, and the Billy Crain Band will be performing back to back shows at the Pepsi Roadhouse this Friday and Saturday, November 5 & 6, and Eric expects it to be a lively conversation about their career and their future plans.

The Outlaws, one of the great American southern rock bands, are known for hits like, “Green Grass & High Tides,” “There Goes Another Love Song,” “Ghost Riders in the Sky” and many more. The band has multiple gold albums and decades of recording to their credit, and Billy Crain says that Pittsburgh holds a special place in their hearts. They love playing here.

Triumph’s Mike Levine: Thursday June 10

Mike Levine, bassist, keyboardist, and founding member of the Canadian rock band Triumph, will take the stand on WRCT’s Court’s in Session on Thursday, June 10.

Mike will be chatting with Eric Jackson Lurie about Triumph’s new, limited edition, box set Allied Forces, being released this weekend for Record Store Day. One of Canada’s most famous rock ‘n’ roll bands, Triumph had a string of Gold and Platinum albums — in Canada and the US — from 1979 to 2007. The band is also noted for its philanthropy, and has a string of music and civic awards.
