Pinkney Hall: December Themes

Every Friday morning, tune into Pinkney Hall. During December, you will hear music with the following themes, along with newly released music and music from artists appearing in Pittsburgh. All ​in​ the space of one hour!

December 4 – December’s Children.
December 11 – Balkan Brass Bands and their progeny.
December 18 – Notable 2015 releases.
December 25 – Forget those treacly Xmas songs you’ve been hearing since before Thanksgiving. As we do every year, we’re going to put the “Christ” back in Christmas by playing songs about Jesus of Nazareth. Warning: there will be songs both sacred and profane!

Engineering Update: Nov. 10, 2015

To the WRCT Community:

First of all, I’d like to say thanks for being patient with the repairs to the servers. I know having the website and database down was super frustrating for many day-to-day tasks around the station. As many of you may have noticed, those functions are back up, along with the wiki and email.

Currently the stream is still down, and the eng team is making progress on that, so sit tight. Everything should be back to normal soon! In the meantime, if you have any questions/concerns regarding engineering, you can email me at engineering@wrct.org.
