Fall Schedule 2013

September 1, 2013

Close your eyes and take a deep breath.

Do you feel that? That’s fall, inching closer and closer and dragging in its cool, brisk winds. Soon, you’ll be taking a sweater with you when you leave the house. Pittsburgh will grow colorful as the leaves turn from green to red and gold. And there will probably be apple cider somewhere.

With all of that, WRCT’s Fall Schedule has blown in, bringing with it some new faces and some old, with all the fantastic programming we know you love. You can see the full schedule at wrct.org/schedule.

Enjoy the season.

Pinkney Hall — Upcoming Themes

August 5, 2013

The next few editions of Pinkney Hall (9–10 a.m. on Fridays) will have the following themes:

August 9 — We’ll be away on vacation.

August 16 — Real property rights will be examined.

August 23 — We will be in Toronto for a street band convergence hoping to gather exciting new tunes for our listeners.

August 30 — Tune in and you’ll hear music by artists born in August.

In addition, every show has some new music and, when appropriate, music from artists who are playing Pittsburgh in the week following the show.

Requests that fit these themes can be made prior to the shows by email to wrctpinkney@gmail.com or during the show to the WRCT request line (412-621-9728).
